Product Overview

ES-7 is the premium grade of the Jiefa ES series for disperse and vat dyes and a replacement for REAX 85A. With heat stability ≥155 °C and 130 °C high-temperature dispersibility A/5, it stays adsorbed on the dye crystals under high temperature and high shear: the spray-drying tower can run hotter for higher output, and dyeing shows fewer dye specks and dye blotches — especially in package dyeing, warp beam dyeing, microfibers and polyester–spandex stretch fabric.

Challenges in Dyeing Process

  • Dispersant desorbs and degrades under high temperature and high shear, capping spray-drying tower temperature
  • Liquid dyes shipped in containers at 55–60 °C coarsen, thicken, gel or separate
  • Free tar separates in HTHP dyeing, causing dye specks, dye blotches and tar stains
  • Sensitive dyes darken and show a shade difference between the inner and outer layers of a yarn package

Textile Dyestuff Industry

How ES-7 Solves These Problems

  • Heat stability ≥155 °C: no desorption or heat degradation, so the spray-drying tower can run hotter for higher output and lower cost
  • Storage stability: liquid dyes stay free of coarsening, thickening, gelation and phase separation on long voyages
  • Tar encapsulation: solubilizes, emulsifies and encapsulates press-cake tar in dispersant micelles, even during HTHP dyeing
  • Stable shade of sensitive dyes: color strength and shade hold in storage; less inner-to-outer shade difference in package dyeing
  • High-temperature dispersibility A/5: stable dye-blend systems and less batch-to-batch shade variation

Key Benefits

  • Higher Spray-Drying Output
    Heat stability ≥155 °C allows a hotter spray-drying tower
  • Fewer Dye Specks and Blotches
Tar stays encapsulated through 130 °C HTHP dyeing
  • Even Package Dyeing
Stable shade of sensitive dyes, less inner-to-outer difference
  • Less Batch Variation
Stable dye blends at high temperature

Applications

  • Disperse dyes
  • Vat dyes
  • Yarn dyeing
  • Beam dyeing
  • High-temperature dyeing processes
